Chemical name: 2-cyano-N-[(ethylamino)carbonyl]-2-(methoxyimino) acetamide

PROPERTIES: Pure, white crystalline solid. Melting point 160-161C. Specific gravity 1.31 at 25C. Vapor pressure 6 x 10-7 mm Hg at 25C (extrapolated). Decomposes into natural plant constituents. Solubility: dimethylformamide 18.5g/100g solvent; acetone 10.5; chloroform 10.3; methanol 4.1; benzene 0.2; hexane < 0.1.

USE: For downy mildew on grapes; late blight on potatoes and tomatoes. Postinfection application halts development of disease for spray program flexibility. Curzate* reduces inoculum.

Solubility (in water) : 1000ppm

TOXICITY: (Rat): Oral LD50 1100 mg/kg. (Rabbit): Dermal LD50 >3000 mg/kg (a.i.).

HANDLING/STORAGE CAUTIONS: Avoid skin contact and vapor inhalation.
